Political Government Cartoon 05

Political Government Cartoon 05 shows father reading bedtime story to son who asks since the war in Iraq has cost trillions, why couldn’t the tooth fairy put a few cents under his pillow. This specific cartoon speaks volumes in regards to war, parenting and children’s knowledge of world affairs.

One of my favorite gag panels since it has a different angle to it in that it makes a statement. Does it look as though the son’s question has caught dad off guard? If you’re a parent, do you still read to your children? Do you read them bed time stories?

If you are considering this or other cartoons from my catalogs, keep in mind I offer you the options such as adding color to any black & white line art cartoon, or also re-drawing this panel or any other cartoons from my selections I offer.
